RRW, October 5th – October 9th
o
Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug
prevention campaign in the country. This year Blue Oak
Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week at Blue Oak
October 5th through October 9th. Each day of the week,
we will have a different theme to draw attention to this
important campaign.
o
Monday: My future is brighter without drugs (wear
sunglasses)
o
Tuesday: Use your head; don't do drugs (crazy hair or
hats)
o
Wednesday: Dream big; no drugs (wear pajamas)
o
Thursday: Proud to be drug free (wear red/assembly) –
BMX Riders Assembly!!!!

BMX Riders RRW Assembly This will be a morning
assembly. If you have an afternoon Kindergartner, you
are welcome to bring them in the morning for this
awesome assembly! If your child attends extended day,
we will be inviting them to bring the kids over to see
this exciting event!

Friday: Team up against drugs (wear your favorite team
jersey or shirt)
