How the PTA has helped the school...

• Provided over $7,000 in classroom start-up funds for the classrooms

• Provided Teachers with $5000 in enrichment funds (to purchase die cut supplies for classroom projects)
• Funded prizes for various school programs including Red Ribbon Week, and the upcoming Biathlon
• Provided funding for the Green Team Recycling Program – Worm Wigwam
• Coordinated various fundraisers:  Great American Opportunities, Applebee’s Family dine-out(s), Quizno’s, and upcoming Pueblo Chico Cantina Family dine-out
• Provided funding for: 
• new drapes for the multi-purpose room
• New electric pencil sharpeners in all classrooms and the library
• Microscopes
• Provided the Library with funding for books for the Read Across America event
• Provided almost $3,700 for in-school assemblies this year (2008-09): BMX for RRW; Explore It!  Science; Adam Miller Folksinger; Wild Things
• Sponsored a Holiday Shop for Kids
• Hosted Free Family events like the Harvest Festival and the upcoming Spring Fling, with prizes at both
• Helped to fund Core Values program with awards, letterhead and folders
• Purchased two digital video cameras for the school and two Memory Cards for the cameras
• Incubator for the school
• Purchased benches and umbrellas for the 1st/2nd grade lunch area
