Welcome to the Blue Oak Elementary PTA web site.  Whether you are new to Blue Oak or have been around for many years, we hope this website will be helpful in sharing information with you.  We believe that as parents and teachers partner together the children's learning is enhanced.  We encourage each of you to join the PTA and find a place where you can be involved with your child's school.  Volunteers are the key to a successful PTA and school.

PTA Always welcomes you!  Our meetings for the year are now over.

Thank you to all who were able to attend our last meeting when we voted in our PTA Board for the 2009-2010 school year!  Congratulations go to:  Tamara Abel, President; Amy Hopman, Executive VP; Jamie Chestnut, Second VP of Membership’ Third VP of Events, Catherine Maloney; Angela Kott as Secretary; and Vera Glascock as Treasurer.  We do still have some positions open:  First VP of Fundraising, Parliamentarian, and Historian as Board positions; and Scrip/eScrip and New Family Buddy as coordinators.  If you’re interested, please contact Tamara Abel for more information!
